Minor Procedures

For your convenience and to avoid long hospital waiting lists we perform some minor surgical procedures in the surgery.

We treat a range of skin conditions under local anaesthetic, such as: 

  • Skin lesions 

  • Skin tags

  • Cysts

  • Ingrown toenails

  • Warts  

  • Verrucae

​

The lesion is first assessed by the doctor who decides on the appropriate course of action.

 

All tissue removed is sent for histological analysis at the laboratory (you will be informed of your results by the doctor who performed the procedure.)


We use cryotherapy treatment to remove warts, verrucae and some skin lesions.

​

These minor procedures generally take 20 to 30 minutes and are relatively painless. 

​

The procedures can be claimed on VHI / BUPA / Quinn insurance.
